The webinar will present the Certified in Public Health (CPH) exam in response to calls to bolster the public health system and to increase the professionalization of the field of public health. Presented will be data from CPH candidates on their motivations for seeking the credential, as well as support from employers.  Eligibility and maintenance of certification will be detailed.

About the presenter: Molly M. Eggleston

Molly M. Eggleston has been developing public health professionals since 2000.

Eggleston served as Treasurer and Board member of the Pennsylvania Public Health Association, on the taskforce for the PA chapter of SOPHE, and as a member of the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing marketing committee.
She has presented at  the annual conferences of the National Association of City and County Health Officials, the American Public Health Association, the Pennsylvania Public Health Association, the Society for Public Health Education, and the Pennsylvania Society for Public Health Education.  Eggleston has been published in the Journal for Public Health Management and Practice.  She is a Certified Health Education Specialist and a member of the Charter Class of Certified in Public Health.
